I can't even begin to describe how awesome it was to photograph Josh and Nicole's engagement in Seattle. They both moved to Washington a few months before my husband and I made our trek across the united states and I was so excited to see them and get to experience their favorite places in and around Washington. We ventured around Pike Place Market and Josh made sure we said "PIKE PLACE" instead of "Pikes Place" so we didn't sound like complete fools. We had the tastiest macaroons, saw the first ever Starbucks, literally drank coffee 24/7, ate the best Mexican food I've ever had at The Matador (trust me, I've had a lot of Mexican food.. it was amazing! Go there!), and we ended the day overlooking the entire city at Gas Works Park.
There is something insanely special about photographing the ones you love the most. Josh is my younger brother and Nicole has been a dear friend for what seems like forever. Really all we want for those we love is for them to find someone that truly gets them, makes them laugh uncontrollably and makes life more fun to have them in it.. and they've found that and so much more with each other. It's been such an awesome experience to watch them grow together over the years and I'm just so freaking excited for them both.
BRING ON THE WEDDING!
I can't wait for us all to be married and live together forever. ; )
